Drummer, composer, bandleader and MacArthur ‘Genius’ Fellow Dafnis Prieto has been making waves on the international scene since his arrival in the US in the late 1990s. A native of Cuba, Prieto weaves styles from Latin America and Jazz into a fresh sound that sparkles with energy and excitement.
